Fully equipped health watch

Thanks to its innovative airbag technology, a micro airbag located on the inside of the wristband is inflated by the watch within 20 seconds. The blood pressure is then shown on the health watch display. Synchronisation with the smartphone is fully automatic, which makes separate documentation of blood pressure and heart rate unnecessary.

Artificial intelligence on the wrist for more protection

Accuracy and precision of the Kardena® CARE Air are ensured by SFH2703, the proven multioximeter sensor technology of the global company Osram based in Munich. Osram has developed this technology specifically for watches at its site in Regensburg. The sensors use 680 and 750 nanometre light wavelengths and 910 nanometre infrared to analyse your blood flow in the uppermost 4 mm of the wrist skin in an absolutely non-invasive way.

The innovative airbag technology from Osram measures the blood oxygen content so precisely that the respiratory rate is also recorded. With the configurable interval, the values are automatically recorded throughout the day and can be called up as a progress chart directly on the Kardena® CARE AIR.

Innovative airbag technology as a unique selling point

Another exclusive feature of the Kardena® CARE Air is the automated monitoring of the body temperature thanks to the integrated Sensyling sensor - the daily history diagram can be called up. Individual alarm functions can be configured to display the threshold value of the body temperature with fever or for the pulse rate. With the 3-axis motion sensor from Sensortek Technology Corp., activities from sleep to steps can be recorded.

The Kardena® CARE Air is just as suitable for self-care as it is for the care function - keyword: availability for family members regardless of their physical distance from the health watch wearer. And - it offers all the usual smartwatch functions with the reception of messenger services such as social media, SMS, WhatsApp and others.

Perfect fit of the Kardena® CARE Air with care function

The wristbands are available as standard in a standard width of 22 mm and fit wrists up to 26 cm. There is a choice of a dozen wristbands and two watch displays. The wristband materials range from TPU, thermoplastic polyurethane in blue, red and black, to brown and black leather and the elegant black metal wristband with clip closure. The round display has a diameter of 3.3 cm, the rectangular one a diagonal of 4.3 cm.

The writing on the health watch interface, in the instructions and the app is German everywhere. Thanks to the viewing-angle-stable bright display, the watch is easy to read in all situations. It is operated with the swipe gestures familiar from smartphones. The lower button on the edge of the housing is used to measure blood pressure.

The Kardena® CARE Air is just 11 mm thin, and its unisex design in the dimensions 46 mm diameter round and 45 x 39 mm square is equally suitable for women and men. The watch cases are all nickel-free - keyword: no problems for allergy sufferers. The German-language app, including future updates, is included in the scope of delivery along with licences for up to three additional people for external use for care functions.

Technical details with innovative airbag technology

The Kardena® CARE Air is the first smartwatch available on the market with the new and innovative Kardena® micro airbag technology. Six small airbags are integrated into the wristband, which build up pressure on the wrist to measure blood pressure. The miniature compressor required for this is of Japanese origin - the oximetry-based measurement of pulse, blood oxygen and blood pressure is carried out by the specially developed sensors from Osram at the Regensburg plant. This sensor technology Made in Germany is currently considered the world's most comprehensive sensor equipment in the field of blood pressure measurement and heart rate and for care functions.

The viewing angle stable display offers an IPS of 178°. IPS stands for In-Plane Switching, an LCD screen technology.
