In the Kardena® CARE Pro 2, the latest SFH2201 multioximeter sensor technology with its 14 percent larger spectral range compared to the SFH2703 in combination with seven-fold Fresnel lenses ensures a previously unattained precision. This technology was also developed by the German company OSRAM at its Regensburg site. The sensors analyse the blood flow in the uppermost millimetres of the wrist skin with a light wavelength of up to 750 nanometres.
The sensor technology with a high accuracy of 512 hertz, which was installed for the first time, comes from the US company Maxim Integrated Products Inc. from California. It analyses the chart for various abnormalities. Another new feature of the Kardena® CARE Pro 2 is the improved sleep monitoring including REM phase analysis, with alarm function for sleep apnoea attacks, a heart rate variability analysis incl. Lorenz diagram display for early disease detection such as hyperthyroidism or for monitoring the menstrual cycle.
