The multiple pulse oximetry sensors of the Kardena® CARE Pro 1 were developed by OSRAM Opto Semiconductor (Regensburg) especially for health watch use: they measure and monitor pulse, blood pressure and blood oxygen with high precision.
The watch monitors lung activity (OSRAM), body temperature (including fever alarm) and of course steps, sleep and exercise. If desired, the data can be made available to up to 3 trusted persons (relatives, caregivers, etc.) via the integrated Online Care function.
CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY FOR YOUR WRIST.
The OSRAM SFH2703 sensors analyse the blood flow in the top 4 mm of your skin with impressive precision, using light wavelengths of 680 and 750 nanometres as well as 910 nm infrared, completely non-invasively and without pressure - this is where the Kardena® CARE Pro 1 differs significantly from the competition, which can usually only actually measure the pulse with one light wavelength (green for the human eye) and estimate the remaining values.
The built-in OSRAM technology, on the other hand, measures blood oxygen levels so accurately that it can even detect breathing rates. Therefore, it is not surprising that this technology is recommended by Dr. Richard Levitan for home quarantine monitoring (and of course for covid infection and long covid symptoms) in the New York Times!
The blood pressure sensor of the Kardena® CARE Pro 1 has a calibration function so that accurate values can be determined even without pressure. Due to the configurable interval, the values are automatically recorded throughout the day and can also be called up directly on the watch as a progress chart.

In addition, the Kardena® CARE Pro 1 health watch has a Sensylink sensor for automatic monitoring of the body temperature. The diagram of the course of the day can be called up on the watch and, if desired, the watch can also alarm when a configurable threshold value (fever) is reached, just as it can do when a pulse threshold value is exceeded.
However, the watch is not only suitable for self-care, but is also the ideal gift for your loved ones: thanks to the online care function, wearers can make the data available live to up to 3 trusted persons (relatives, carers, etc.).
