The OSRAM SFH2703 sensors analyse with impressive precision, utilising light wavelengths of 680 and 750 nanometres, as well as 910 nm infrared, to non-invasively and pressure-free measure the blood flow in the upper 4 mm of your skin. This is where the Kardena® CARE Plus significantly distinguishes itself from competitors, who typically rely on a single light wavelength (visible as green to the human eye) to measure only the pulse, estimating the remaining values.

In contrast, the integrated OSRAM technology measures the blood oxygen content with such accuracy that it can even detect the breathing rate. Thanks to the configurable interval, values are automatically recorded throughout the day and are accessible directly on the watch as a trend diagram.
